The excitement is high at Andria Theatre over the installation of the Loop Hearing System. We’ve been talking about it and fundraising for it for three years now. A wonderful grant written by the Alexandria Sertoma Club and awarded put the fundraising over the top!
What is this all about, you ask?
This amazing system will take the sound generated on stage and, through WiFi, will direct it into WiFi enabled hearing aids. How cool is that?
This is a game changer for the hearing impaired, who have avoided attending plays due to not being able to hear the actors well.
