Performing arts experience for children and youth
Frequently Asked Questions
Each show will have someone there to create the costumes; however, it is expected that each student has a nude-colored base layer for under the costumes. Some directors may request a white t-shirt or black pants instead, but it varies depending on the show. Please write the names or initials of your child on the tag or interior of these items in case they get lost. We recommend doing the same for shirts that are provided by the theatre, as well as any lunch boxes, water bottles, or other personal items brought to rehearsals or performances.
Staff from the Andria Theatre will be sending information regarding the rehearsal schedules, signing up for our communication app GroupSpot, and getting information out about the Parent Meetings, Audition Days, and other policies and procedures. Watch your email!
Student auditions are individual, and each student should come with a 30-second song and a one-minute monologue. The song should be sung acapella, and the monologue should be mostly memorized. The student may be asked to read from a script during the audition.
Registration will be on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026. The registration will open at 10am and can be found at Purchase Tickets – Andria Theatre under the Student Theatre Project Tab.
