About The Theatre

The Andria Theatre is the premier live theatre in West Central Minnesota. Our mission is to build community by igniting interest and participation in and through the performing arts. The mission is accomplished by providing community-based theatre and education-oriented programming that exceeds expectations, The Andria Theatre is led by a staff of four and governed by a board of directors.

The 2023-2024 season is filled with nine productions. Shows are a mix of family entertainment, as well as those geared toward adults, musicals, and dramas. New this year, the Andria is producing two senior shows. These one-act plays are written for senior actors and performances will be held during the day. Three Student Theatre Projects will be held in the summer of 2024 to wrap up the season.

Parking

On-street ADA parking is available less than a block from the theater’s front door, on the south side of 5th Avenue. The city lots nearby also have designated parking for vehicles with handicapped permits. Sidewalks from these locations are maintained and kept clear for persons with mobility or vision disabilities.

Front entrance doors are street-level, with parking directly in front of the building for easy drop-offs and pickups. The overhead awning provides protection from the elements. One door is a low-energy power-operated door.

Inside Accommodations

The lobby has several benches for audience seating, plus a wheelchair available for patron use as needed. The lobby has clear signage to guide patrons to restrooms, located at street level, with two additional family/gender-neutral restrooms, available downstairs. Downstairs restrooms are large enough to accommodate families with multiple children.

The theater has a Loop Hearing System to assist those with a hearing impairment. This T-coil system works with WiFi-enabled hearing aids. For those without a hearing aid the Andria Theatre has 2 handheld Loop Hearing Systems with headphones that individuals may borrow during a performance.
